I'm Carole Paine and I am a licensed practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. I have been in practice since 2000 and gladly serve the greater Cincinnati community. I have travelled near and far to study Chinese medicine. I attended one of the oldest and established acupuncture schools in the U.S. and have had the opportunity to study twice in China.

Please go to my background for more detail. I came to try acupuncture myself for my own health and became a believer. I know firsthand that it works. Acupuncture helps our own body to heal without drugs and works in support of the western medicine care you may already receive. Acupuncture addresses issues of pain and injury, helps the immune system, reduces stress and anxiety, benefits better sleep, improves general health and vitality and benefits infertility.

Go to FAQ for more details. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine benefit not only pain issues and internal health, but also help calm and balance the emotions. Treatments are tailored to each individual's health picture.

Having had knee surgery in August of '05, the pain was still moderate to severe after 7 months.
After the first visit, improvement was immediate and has improved every visit since.
At this point any pain I have is mild and does not last.
Carole puts you at ease and you know you are in good hands.
I had the pleasure and great fortune of meeting Carole several years ago when I was suffering from chronic pain due to a herniated disc.
I had had a spinal fusion several years prior to that time due to a spinal fracture, and had my mind set on healing without relying on surgery or strong pain medication.

Chinese medicine looks at the body as a whole system made up of smaller interdependent elements.
When each individual functioning system of the body is working in harmony, health is achieved and maintained.
When disharmony or weakness or injury occurs in one system of the body the entire balance and function of the body will begin to be effected.
An example of this is the essential interaction between the heart and lungs or cardio-pulmonary system.
An illness affecting the heart will eventually affect the function of the lungs.
